“Having passion for something is the key to success. For me that passion is the art of creating visuals. I look at each day as a new adventure and I hope to end the day having learned something new.”

Gary’s career began in the dynamic world of ‘90s snowboarding. His early experiences, where he captured the spirited subculture, cultivated a keen eye for storytelling through visuals. Since then, he has harnessed his love for sports, photographing legends such as Allen Iverson, Tom Brady, Simone Biles, and LeBron James, and producing celebrated books like A.I. and East Street Archives. These works serve as testaments to his ability to craft captivating narratives through imagery.

Gary's work, both as a photographer and director, showcases his versatility, as he brings passion and connects deeply with his subjects. He doesn't merely capture the athleticism of his subjects but delves into their personas, revealing the essence of their humanity, whether it's baseball players in the Dominican Republic or cricket players in India.

He’s known for his unique photographic interpretation and style, ranging from photo journalistic sports to highly stylized advertising. While away from commercial assignments and the studio, he can be found spending time with his family, coaching soccer, building props for his personal shoots, or snapping candids with his point and shoot.
